The Handbags of RT!

My love of fashion is well known by this point, but there’s one item I’m absolutely crazy for: Handbags.

Bags. Totes. Purses. Pocketbooks. Whatever you call them, I’m in love them. The way some women feel about shoes, I feel about my handbags. I’ve been working on my own collection for a few years now and each week on my Author Facebook Page, I host a segment called Totes Thursday, where people can comment on a bag that has caught my attention.

In honor of Romance Writers of America’s Annual Conference this week, I’m bringing you the bags I found during the last convention I attended, Romantic Times, back in May. There were a LOT of Coach, Dooney & Bourke, and a few other brands you’d recognize.

However, one of my two favorites was the pink Michael Kors tote that Nalini Singh was carrying. It was vibrant, practical and fashionable. Plus, she can do no wrong in my eyes. I ❤ her! *squee*

My other favorite was this adorable Hello Kitty purse. It was so whimsical and unexpected and it made me smile. 🙂

So, my Fictionistas-in-training, which of the above purses are your favorites? Do you have a treasured tote that you love?

  1. I am always in search of the perfect purse, totally rockin’ tote, and bodacious bag. Of your RT sightings, I have to agree on the pink Michael Kors! Loving the color. My current fav bag is the red and purple purse I got in Chester, England. Designer name lost/forgotten, but when I saw it, I couldn’t live without it. Thanks for sharing!

    • Ooh, a purse from England! That’s awesome.
That’s how I’ve felt about every handbag I’ve ever purchased: I see it and something in me says I have to have it. I’m glad for that feeling because it keeps me honest. I see a lot of cute purses and it would be easy to just buy, but I wait for that feeling. It’s never let me down. 🙂
